Vendors at this year's Stock Show have indicated a strong start to the week, saying it was one of the busiest kick-offs they'd ever seen. Stock Show officials are saying that trend is holding true with crowd numbers as well, noting that even through the middle of the week, they're still holding strong.

Rodeo Announcer Kyle Shobe says, "From what I've heard, official numbers from the entire Stock Show are looking really good. In comparison to last year, I'm not sure where they are at, but they're looking in an upward trend and I think the rest of the week has got a lot of good events. It could be real exciting before the weekend gets over."

The Civic Center says if this coming Saturday's numbers end up as projected, this year's Stock Show will go down as a record breaking one.
