He violated his probation for a second time since August of 2011 and was back in court today in front of Judge Wally Eklund.  Bartley Nicholson was sentenced today for violating his probation by drinking alcohol.  Judge Eklund sentenced Nicholson back to the penitentiary to serve out the rest of his four-year sentence for aggravated assault.  Nicholson was originally charged with attempted murder for stabbing a houseguest in May of 2010 but was later found guilty but mentally ill on an aggravated assault charge.  Nicholson will receive credit for 461 days already served.
