A Rapid City woman was back in court Monday morning to be arraigned on a series of charges alleging that she had sexual contact with a minor under the age of 16.

April Solles, 28, pleaded not guilty to five different counts of sex crimes.

Two of those counts are for sexual contact with a child under 16, which are incidents alleged to have happened in May and June of last year.  The remaining three counts of fourth degree rape are alleged to have happened in June, July and December of last year.

All together Solles faces a maximum sentence of 75 years in prison and $150,000 in fines.  Her bond has been set at $100,000.

Her one-year-old daughter was killed in December; a 14-year-old boy has been charged with the murder.
