Pittman earlier pleaded guilty to striking and killing 44-year-old Brian Bye of Lincoln, Nebraska during the Sturgis Rally.

Pittman was sentenced to 10 years in prison with 3 of those years suspended.  He is also required to pay more than $4,500 to the victim's family, along with an accident reconstruction fee and court costs.
