And while the extra traffic the Black Hills Stock Show brings in is good for business it also means there's more room for trouble.      The Rapid City Police Department says they make the extra effort to be on hand at the Civic Center should they be needed with the high volume of foot traffic in the area. They say they make daily routine foot patrols around the premises to be available for help but they also say it helps with community relations.
