Salvation Army rings in holiday donations
Wednesday, 30 November 2011 12:19
As folks go out to do their holiday shopping through Rapid City and the Northern Hills, the chances are good that they'll pass by a familiar sight. The ringing bells and the red kettles mean the Salvation Army is hitting the streets to gather donations that will stay in the area.

The Salvation Army says they're right on track to meet their goal of $150 thousand dollars from kettle donations in the Black Hills.

They also say they've noticed an interesting trend, where the individuals who have donated in years past are now asking for their assistance.
