Just 2 defendants left in Fish Garbage case
Monday, 18 July 2011 14:07

The number of defendants in the Fish Garbage case is now down to just two, the company's owners George and Clifford Fish.

They're each charged with aggregated grand theft and conspiracy to commit grand theft, accused of cheating the city out of thousands of dollars in fees at the Rapid City Landfill.  Monday morning, the state filed to dismiss the grand theft charge against the Fish Garbage corporation.  Former landfill employee Randall Meidinger was found not guilty of grand theft in May after a jury trial and the charges against Fish drivers were later dropped.  George and Clifford Fish are scheduled to go to trial in August.
