She was speaking as part of the Regional Health Research and Compliance Conference about how medical research can go awry when ethics are thrown by the wayside. She spoke about how her experiences have led her to be a tireless advocate of forgiveness. Kor says, "Forgiveness in my opinion is an act of self healing, an act of self liberation, and an act of self empowerment. I call anger and pain a seed for war. Forgiveness is a seed for peace." Kor has authored two books and even helped create a DVD about her tragic experiences. Brendyn Medina |
