On Friday the Bossier Shreveport Mudbugs beat the Colorado Eagles in game seven of the CHL finals. It turns out that it will be the last game the Eagles will ever play in the CHL. The Eagles will leave the Central Hockey League in order to join the East Coast Hockey League starting next season. This move comes on the heels of recent announcements from the CHL that the Quad City Mallards and the Odessa Jackalopes will also no longer be a part of the league. It's a turbulent time of change for the league and there are several rumors swirling around about potential replacements for these lost organizations and we will continue to update you on that story as it develops.
