PIERRE, S.D. (AP) _ The South Dakota Legislature is looking for
22 college students to serve as interns in next year's legislative
session.
The internship program is designed to give students a better
understanding of the government process while they work with
legislative leaders. Students earn college credits and are paid
nearly $5,000 for their work.
Students interested in being interns must file applications with
the Legislative Research Council by Oct. 15.
