SPEARFISH, S.D. (AP) - A 49-year-old Spearfish man has died in a motorcycle crash along a highway in Spearfish Canyon.
The South Dakota Highway Patrol says Steven Craig Smith was
driving a BMW motorcycle north on US14A on Friday evening when he
missed a left hand curve.
The patrol says Smith's motorcycle went into the east ditch and
collided with a road sign and several large boulders.
The patrol says Smith was not wearing a helmet at the time of
the crash. He was taken to Spearfish Regional Hospital, where he died. |
